Great camera for the price!
We bought this camera last summer as a gift for our 7-year-old son. We wanted something easy, with regular batteries (not expensive camera batteries) that didn't cost an arm OR a leg in case it got destroyed. It has been perfect!
He took it on vacation with his grandparents and came back with some surprisingly decent pictures (minus the ones of people missing heads;). The batteries hold up well, it fits nicely in the hand (little big for his, but that's good - too small and it gets lost easier), and is not heavy. The SD card is great, as I can just pull it out and plug it into my laptop to have any photos printed.
Night photos are not necessarily the greatest, but then again, he's not generally outside at night! As long as you're within a reasonable distance from your subject, then the photos turn out fine. Too far away, and it's a dark blur.
For the price we paid (gold box special, I think), it's been a terrific camera. My budding photographer has gotten great use out of it and will continue to do so!

No Photos At Night
It's a great camera that produces great looking pictures...unless you're trying to photograph things in the dark. Using the flash won't help because it just makes the picture look super blurry, and if you don't use the flash your pictures will come out pretty much completely black, no matter what setting you use. If you don't plan on using it at night or in a dim lit room I'd recommend it. Even if you have software to brighten up the pictures you'll lose a lot of the 7 pixel quality you'd expect from it. Otherwise, it's got tons of settings, batteries (any rechargeable AA's work) last a long time even when you're turning it on and off a lot, and the zoom is amazing and doesn't compromise the photos.

Product Unsupported
I purchased a Norcent camera the wouldn't operate after one week. I returned the camera in August (its now November) and haven't received a replacement. Cannot reach the company via phone (mailbox is full) or e-mail (error undeliverable). Go to their website and try to reach them for yourself. Company must be out of business. Don't buy their unsupported products.

piece of garbage
I bought this camera for a song and got a free memory card with it, and yet I still returned it.
pictures were grainy, interface was limited, and there is no view finder.
Trust me, you're going to want to shell out the extra few dollars and get a legitimate camera

excellent product!
excellent product and service...the camera came on time and in mint condition.although it lacked the stabilization feature,i tried taking a couple of shots while im intentionally shaking my hands a little bit.and amazingly,it still came out clear.the camera has a ton of features built in.the audio feature while taking videos, although not professionally excellent,is still good.besides, wat do u expect from a digicam...but still the downside is the kinda sensitive lock for holding the batteries and memory card in place.if you're the type who tends to take the camera covers for granted,ur likely to break this one in a few months time...overall,highly recommended considering the value u get for the money ull spend for it...
