Riiight...the cable
This product fell short of my expectations and wouldn't really recommend it if you are trying to do anything more than just charge your phone. The software is British and is not user friendly. Not to mention it did not do what I wanted it to do. I have 2 chargers that work great but I needed to download and upload pictures and music. Both it fell short of doing.
USB Charger
I bought this USB phone charger for my Sanyo Katana. It came with a cd that had Sanyo Drivers on it. I was able to download pictures from my phone to my computer (Windows XP OS). I had tried other products and none of them worked. The link that they provide will allow you to take pictures and ringtones from the phone and put them onto your computer. It also allows you to sync your calendar. It does not allow you to put new ringtones or pictures onto your phone. Overall a good product, I would definitely buy this again.
No conection
I bought this cable to send pictures from my phone to the computer.I could'nt get any drivers to work off the disc.So its useless.
Fast service
I received this cable in three working days. It included the cable & CD as advertised. After installing the driver for my Sprint Katana DLX phone provided on the CD, my phone does connect to my PC. However, it doesn't charge my phone. It doesn't connect to the Sprint Mobile Broadband. So it is useless to me.
Software does not work for Sanyo SCP-3200
I purchased this cable and software to download the phone list from my Sanyo SCP-4900 and upload it to the SCP-3200. The download of the phone list from the 4900 worked well, but there does not seem to be a driver available for communicating to the SCP-3200. Other Sanyo drivers fail to detect the phone, making the software useless for phone book maintenance or picture downloads. If one simply wants a USB connection to charge their phone, then this will work for that purpose.
